First Road Trip - Lake Time Brewery

After seeing each other a few more times, our first official road trip together was to LakeTime Brewery in Clear Lake (Iowa) for the day on June 27, 2020. You are going to begin to sense a theme...we love to visit different breweries and experience different craft beers.

My friend and former colleague at Hudson Elementary works at LakeTime and it just so happens that she was working that day. We enjoyed a few drinks and went out to explore the lake. Near the Tiki Bar on the southern side of the lake is where Lars suggested we take our first selfie. (Needless to say, we’ve gotten a bit better at taking selfies since this first shot.)

It was a great day and the start of something really special. Stay tuned for more adventures and craziness.
